Draft Cover

I carried on editing the cover that I had done previously and I think that this one works much better. I will carry on the black, white and red theme throughout the magazine. I did a black border across the bottom and across the top of the magazine with key elements on it. I thought it looked good at the top where I could put the main artists that are in my magazine so it can draw the attention to customers and also if on a shelf at a shop you would see the top of the magazine and then people would know what was in the magazine. I will need to change the colour of the red/pinky colour on the black border at the top, because it doesn't match the other red writing which I think looks better. I chose to use the font 'Soma' which is the square type writing which I think works really well and stands out, also I added colour into it because it was a little dull and the red in it makes it look more aesthetically pleasing and it brings out the red colour in the cover. I then used 'Qubix' for the black and white writing which is the writing with 'New star' on the cover. I really liked this writing because it makes certain points stand out more than others. I put the price of the article as £2.95 because I thought it was an average price, but I am considering maybe highering the price between £3 and £4 because I think it would be a more realistic price. I put the date of the issue at the bottom right, but I may change the writing to the left hand side and the barcode to the right hand side as I think it may work better.
