Lil Deesh, is hoping new single 'Strong' hits number 1
'Now the dream is made, I will never go back'
The massive new comer of 2011, Lil Deesh, is hoping to become a major success in the charts and is eager to reach number 1 for his solo career and will do whatever it takes to make his music change lives. Lil Deesh has currently reached top 10 in 4 countries with his first single Defeated which was a massive success. Lil Deesh is becoming a star in the making and in the future we will be hoping to see him successful in the Hip Hop and R&B industry and hopes to become as big as stars such as Kanye West and Nicki Minaj for their bold personalities and dress sense and mostly there amazing music which is adored by Lil Deesh himself. He has currently been working with latest R&B stars Nicki Minaj and Jay Sean on their new debut single ‘Strong’ which they are all hoping will be a huge success. Lil Deesh is mainly focused on bringing back the old school music which has recently been lost in the music industry and wants it to be brought back instead of manifactured songs which can sound boring. 
I had an chance to speak to the new star in the making of 2011. Lil Deesh walked into the room, with massive confidence, his outfit really shone out and it was sure to me that he is very unique with his fashion but also keeps it very simple and elegant. I got onto asking Lil Deesh ‘Andesh Matharu’  Questions. 
How old were you when you knew that you wanted to become a music artist?
Well I’ve always loved music from a young age and from the moment I got my first CD which I’m not embarrassed to say was Snoop Dog and since then, I have been in love with R&B and Hip Hop music and after this, I always used to keep on track with the new R&B and Hip Hop tracks and used to write my own songs. I never actually thought I would be good enough for the music industry.  So to answer your question, I don’t have an age where I knew, I just always new and had music in me since a very young age.
How were you founded in the music industry?
Well, I had to work for everthing myself, I saved up every little penny that I earned as my parents weren't very well off so everything that I earned was with my own money. I funded money for singing lesson and in my spare time I would work on making music with my keyboard which I got donated to me from my school and I saved up my money to have lessons and my first debut single 'Defeated' I made the music myself, with the help of my keyboard and music maker on my computer. I have worked really hard for my place in the industry which I think thats why people admire me, nothing has been handed to me on a plate. I then carried on my music by doing gigs and singing at parties which earned me money for more equipment for my music making. The last gigg I did I got signed up by a record producer which has changed my life forever and now the dream has finally come, I will never go back. 
How important is music to you? 
Music is my life, the moment I first listened to music I knew this is what I wanted to do, and I was willing to fight until I got here and I am going to fight until I am remembered for amazing music. Music isn't a job, it's my life and I want people to understand that through my music, I want people to feel music the way that I feel it.
Where did the name ‘Lil Deesh’ come from?
Well when I was younger I was always really small and thats where the 'lil' came from and as from a young age my nickname has always been Deesh and I have always been known as Deesh to everyone. So my name was Lil Deesh, which is quite ironic because obviously i’m not really that little anymore [Laughs] but that’s what everyone knows me as.
Which Artists have you been working with on your new album? 
Well I wouldn’t really like to spoil the suprise’s,  but all I can say is that, it has been amazing working with the artists who are so amazing and there music is so amazing, so hopefully our new songs will be as good.
How is your new single ‘Strong’ coming along and when is it released?’
‘Strong’ [laughs] well there’s a funny story about that. The song was supposed to be released a couple of weeks back but Nicki had a little accident which stalled the process of releasing it, but now Nickis all well and healthy we can assure you it will be out soon, and it is a really good song and I’m just hoping it will do as well as my other songs.
